II.    LEARNINGS/INSIGHTS:
The RHU Main computer is already fixed and running, I was able to print medical certificates, referral forms, laboratory test results form and other necessary files. This month, I was assigned to have field work. I experienced not having lunch in appropriate hours. It is because there is no Carenderia in the Brgy. Health Centers I’ve visited and I wasn’t able to bring packed lunch. The other reason is, the service is not able to pick me up early.
I learned how to circumcise with the supervision of a surgeon. I was refreshed about body parts of the Male organ. I also understood the reason why it is needed to circumcise a boy.
I am learning the skill needed to inject BCG vaccine via intra dermal by practicing it, this skill is also applied in giving PPD skin tests. In time, I will be able to master the art of vaccination or immunization to children or babies. I was also acquainted in responsible parenting movement and rapid population control. I am giving more devotion now in the family as a catholic.

III. ISSUES/CONCERNS:

The electric power in this Municipality of Milaor is getting worst. We have scheduled brownouts from 10 am to 3 pm during Mondays to Saturdays. In other municipality they don’t experience this power interruption or power shedding of Casureco II. This started in the month of February where in there is just 2 hrs brownout during weekdays, now it’s getting worst. 5 hours of power interruption during summer season causes a lot of inconvenience to the patients and staff of the RHU. Example, if there is a patient that needs to have urinalysis, since there is no power, they will be advised to return the next day earlier before the scheduled brownout. Other laboratory tests are postponed too, this delay will also cause delay of treatment.
It is also crowded in the RHU, so when it doesn’t have power, we are all at risk in suffering heat stroke. The certificates and other documents that we have in the main computer cannot be accessed real time to print such necessary documents, so it also cause frustration to offices where it should be submitted to require approval or signatories.

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS:
Proper time Management and time budgeting is one skill that a nurse need in times like this. Grace under pressure is needed. Since we already know the schedule of power interruption, we do nebulization, printing of documents and templates, medical procedures and the like from 8 am to 10am and 3pm to 5pm. When I admit a patient, I already check if it needs emergency treatment like nebulization or if it needs to be referred to tertiary hospitals. If we will triage them asap, less casualties will be experienced.
